Not sure how long this will be available so get it now. You do not have to purchase dies for the pattern.

New block idea---

I wasn't sure where to post this, but it is a great idea. She shows one quilt that looks like it was made with snowball blocks (I don't do good snowball blocks, but love the look of them).

Off Grid Sliced 9 patch

This is a blog, but this quilt sure is pretty and I just may have to do one. I have a couple of El's Truly Blue charm packs that would look great in this pattern!

Ghirardelli Chocolate Chip Cookies

http://www.ghirardelli.com/bake/recipe.aspx?id=1045 One of the things I change in all of my cookie recipes is to use Crisco Butter Flavored shortening instead of margarine or butter. This makes the cookies stay together instead of melting all over and into each other. Also, this recipe is great with...

Re: Sewing Machine Tension Adjusting

As a general rule I try to clean out my machine after I use 2 bobbins up. I use canned air in the bobbin area and once in awhile in the upper tension disc area. Then I oil the bobbin race---just a drop and make sure your oil is clear---yellow oil is 'sour' and doesn't work the best. I like to buy la...

Mug Cake

This is an okay chocolate cake. When cooking it acts like a volcano and raises over the cup edge. This would be good for kids to learn how to mix and cook in the microwave.

Tina, It really does scare people when they first make it because it DOES look just like thin mud. This is the only chocolate cake I make and I can remember the recipe easily---- everything is in 2's except salt and cocoa.

Glad you liked it.
