Blueberry Stuffed French Toast

Here's the recipe for Blueberry Stuffed French Toast:
12 slices Texas Toast bread (cut into 1" cubes)
1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese (cut into small cubes)
1 cup blueberries
12 eggs
1/3 cup maple syrup
2 cups milk
Put bread cubes in 9x13" pan. Top with cut up cream cheese and blueberries. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over bread crumb mixture. Bake at 350 degrees- covered with foil for 30 minutes. Then remove foil and bake an additional 30 minutes.
SAUCE:
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
Boil until thickened, then add 1 cup blueberries and 1 tablespoon butter. Pour sauce over each portion.
