Ham & Spaetzle Bake

Ham & Spaetzle Bake

1 c. uncooked spaetzle
2Tbl olive oil
Fresh mushrooms
1 Tbl. Butter
½ c. chopped onion
2 Tbl. flour
1 c. milk
1 tsp ground mustard
pepper to taste
Ham cubed, or deli ham
Broccoli, semi cooked (optional)
½ c. shredded Swiss cheese

Cook the spaetzle & drain. Meanwhile, sauté the mushrooms in olive oil- set aside. Saute the onion in butter till tender. Stir in the flour. Gradually add milk. Bring to a boil & stir till thickened. Add the mustard & pepper then the mushrooms, ham, spaetzle, broccoli & cheese. Bake uncovered at 375 for 15–20 min. or till bubbly.
