The STACKED COINS pattern is extremely easy and is a GREAT way to use up your stash! You sew fabric "coins" together to make one long strip, add a solid color sashing and borders and poof!!!....a beautiful quilt that is a cinch to make. You can vary the look and feel of the Stacked Coins quilt by adjusting the width of your sashing strips.

Pattern instructions:
1. Cut your "coins" 2 1/2" by 5".
~ Cut 40 of these "coins". It's ok to have duplicates in your strip, but try not to have too many. We're going for a scrappy look with this one.Refer to the above photos for ideas.
2. Sew your coins together, using a 1/4" seam. Press all the seams going in the same direction.
3. That's all there is to it!I used charm squares for my sample strip and they worked..... well.....lol...like a charm!I simply cut each one in half.
Hugs,
